The Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) was established by the Government of India under the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority Act passed by the Parliament in December, 1985. This act was established to promote schedule products export under the regulation of central government. Rules and Regulation is been laid by CG through this body for effective management. APEDA is a statutory body established under the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority Act 1985.

    Registration Details

    The applicant need to submit application form within 1 month from the date of undertaking the business.
    Failing to do the same can be distressful because cost can be implied.
    When application is filed then authority will issue Registration-Cum-Membership-Certificate (RCMC).
    It is a one-time obligation.
    All the members will be governed by rules & regulations under APEDA Act.
